Zed
and Kitty's Story
Dear SEVA
GRREAT,
I wanted
to thank the SEVA GRREAT volunteers who helped bring me and my
recently adopted golden, Zed, together - especially Zed's foster
mom and our home evaluators. They will forever have my gratitude
for all their caring and hard work in helping me and Zed find
each other.
Zed arrived
on Halloween night of last year and quickly adapted to his new
surroundings. He is now the resident "greeter" at my
children's toy store. Everyone knows how good Goldens are with
kids, and Zed is no exception. He is very sensitive to the young
kids in the store and is very patient with their curiosity and
desire to pet him. He has become so comfortable in this environment,
that he often sleeps, snoring mind you, upside down in the middle
of the floor - oblivious to people around him. It is quite amusing
to say the least!
He is
a big talker and is vocal with his grunts. It is not hard to
know what Zed likes!
Zed has
developed quite a following; several of the neighborhood kids
and many families stop in to see Zed weekly at the store. He
even has his own boys club that come and take him out for play
time several times a week.
He is
enjoying being an ambassador for SEVA GRREAT - and telling everyone
he meets about this wonderful organization - and his rescue experience.
He hands out SEVA GRREAT's contact number several times a week.
Zed loves
the beach, taking walks and of course a good game of chase with
anyone of his toys. His favorite indoor toy, of course, was his
Ted-Ted from his foster mom (thanks!).
He is
a truly wonderful dog and I feel very blessed to have become
a part of his life. People ask me all the time how someone could
have given Zed up and I always reply, "They must not have
gotten to know his wonderful personality and I guess we were
meant to be together."
Thanks,
Kitty
Zed
and his Golden puppy friend, Cody.

Zed
and Kitty enjoy the beach.

Being
the center of attention is a
tough job for some, but not for Zed!
