My
Story
by
Georgie Bishop

Compared to many dogs, I was luckier than most. I did not come from
a home where I was abused or neglected. Instead, I came from a home
where people were not selfish and had a big enough heart to realize
they could no longer care for me. Humans!!! When will they ever
understand that dogs are placed on earth to take care of humans? In
my new home, I have a 93 year old that I spend hours each day giving
her quality paw time. I was also there for my family on that very
sad day to watch as the other “man of the house” packed his bags and
left for Iraq. I continue to watch the door, hoping that soon he
will be home. As for the other human in my life---well, I must put
up with her belly-rubs and kisses. Also, it has become necessary to
find my very own “number” on our Select Comfort bed! It’s a dog’s
life but somebody has got to do it!
We are all adjusting
nicely, but I must send along big kisses to Melissa Pence and Kathi
Kruse for helping me choose this perfect family.
